Phipps Bend

The Phipps Bend Industrial Park in Church Hill, TN. While this may seem like an odd location for nature photos, it's really not. In the 1980's TVA was going to build a nuclear power plant at this site. They decided to abandon the project. Some of the area was converted to an industrial park, but most has been allowed to revert to a semi-wild state. Many deer, turkeys, fish and even herrons and egrets call the park home.
